Our master instructos come from a combination of both classical and contemporary education in Pilates. Their dream is to share as much overall Pilates knowledge with their students as possible. Dawn and Cassandra are both also very educated in anatomy and fuctional movement and utilize Kinetisense as a tool for posture analysis during trainings held at Sun Pilates in Colorado Springs.
Owner of Sun Pilates Studio and MindfulMonkey®, is a certified Pilates Instructor, GYROTONIC® Instructor, Personal Trainer, and Group Fitness Instructor. Dawn comes from a long history of health and fitness. As a former college athlete, she began working as a group fitness instructor to stay active during the off-season.
Upon graduation, she moved to Key Largo, Florida where she became the Head Fitness Instructor at the elite Ocean Reef Club. It was during this time that Dawn was first introduced to Pilates. She originally began practicing Pilates in an effort to rehabilitate a recurring sports injury but found the overall benefits essential for everyday living.
Besides fitness and wellness, Dawn’s biggest passion is her 6-year old twins. She believes her study and practice of Pilates and therapeutic movement were pivotal to her healthy and happy pregnancy . . . and now provides her with the endurance necessary to keep up with two lively children!

Cassandra is a Peak Pilates System comprehensive certified instructor. She has been loving and teaching Pilates for 6 years.
Before falling in love with the Pilates method, Cassandra was applying her passion for health and fitness to her job as a Personal Trainer. Designing solutions for her clients is her passion. She specializes in injury prevention and rehabilitation, however loves working with clients of all needs and abilities.
