Comprehensive Certification (Mat, Reformer & Equipment)
There are 475 total hours required (personal practice, apprentice teaching and observation) for the entire program. There are four weekends: Mat, Level 1 Reformer/Spine Corrector/Ladder Barrel, Level 2 Reformer/Cadillac, and Level 3 Reformer/Chair. Each weekend will generally be a Friday, Saturday and Sunday all day. After attending the weekends you will need to complete 195 personal practice hours, 190 apprentice teaching hours, 90 observation hours, complete a written exam for the mat and a written exam for the equipment/Reformer, and practical exam for Mat (teach 55 min Mat Class) Reformer (teach 55 minute private Reformer session) and Equipment (teach 55 min private Equipment session). If you sign up for all 4 weekends at once save $500! Entire comprehensive classical as well as contemporary program for $5,500! This includes your complete manual and reading materials as well as studio fees. The cost to test out is $200. (not due until booking your test out date) You must complete your hours and test within 2 years of start date.
Mat Certification
If you would just like to become Pilates Mat Certified you can do that! It is just one weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). There are 120 hours to complete. After attending the weekend you will need to complete 45 personal practice hours, 60 apprentice teaching hours, 15 observation hours, complete a written exam, and practical exam (teach 55 min mat class). The cost for the Mat Certification program is $1,500 including manual, books and studio fee. The cost to test out is $75. (not due until booking your test out date) You must complete your hours and test within 1 year of start date.
Reformer Certification
If you would just like to become Pilates Reformer Certified you can do that! It is just three weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). There are 170 hours to complete. After attending the weekends you will need to complete 75 personal practice hours, 65 apprentice teaching hours, 30 observation hours, complete a written exam, and practical exam (teach 55 min private Reformer session). The cost for the Reformer Certification program is $2,500 including manual, books and studio fees. The cost to test out is $75. (not due until booking your test out date) You must complete your hours and test within 2 years of start date.
